posted 2 months agoHi,
Thank you for your review and feedback!
You can access PhotoShow’s settings by clicking its icon in your browser’s extension dock (usually next to the address bar). If it’s not visible, it may be hidden by default.
Here are the options available to customize PhotoShow to fit your needs:
Default Mode: PhotoShow is enabled and you can manually disable it for specific sites. Simply click the main toggle button in the settings popup to add the current site to the block list.
Whitelist Mode: This turns PhotoShow off on all sites by default, allowing you to enable it only on selected sites (adding to the whitelist).
You can add or remove sites from either the whitelist or block list anytime using the toggle button or a custom hotkey (Alt + P by default) set in your browser’s extension management page.
Quiet Mode: When using the toggle button, you’ll see an option to run PhotoShow in "Quiet Mode," where the image viewer is disabled, but other features like copying or opening HD images in a new tab via hotkeys or context menu items remain active.
Activation Mode: You can also configure PhotoShow to display the viewer only when needed by using an assistant key. This setting is available under "Activation Mode."
Please note that PhotoShow currently doesn’t provide a centralized view of all sites in the whitelist or block list—this feature is planned for future updates. In the meantime, you’ll need to toggle these site-specific settings while visiting a site.
If you have any further questions, feel free to comment here or reach out via email.

posted 4 months agoHi there,
Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear about the frustrating experience. It sounds like the issue might be related to PhotoShow not having the necessary permissions to access websites.
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
- Open about:addons in Firefox to navigate to the Add-on Management page.
- Locate PhotoShow in your list of extensions and click on it.
- Under the "Permissions" section, you'll find a toggle labeled "Access your data for all websites." Enable this option.
This should resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please don't hesitate to contact me at vincentwang863@gmail.com for further assistance.
Cheers. - Rated 5 out of 5

PhotoShow employs a sophisticated algorithm to identify and detect all images on a page, which can occasionally be resource-intensive. Numerous updates have already been implemented to enhance performance, but some impact may still be noticeable in certain cases.
Feel free to email me with details about the affected sites. I'll gladly investigate and make any necessary adjustments to address the problem. Cheers!

You can always enable/disable PhotoShow for a certain domain/site by toggling the switch on PhotoShow's settings panel which appears when you click the PhotoShow icon from your extenshion dock next to the address bar in your browser.
Should you have any problem with sorting this out, feel free to contact me via vincentwang863@gmail.com. Cheers.

Everything works, but when I try to save a picture, the download just fails.
EDIT:
After a week, the issue persisted. Thankfully, the developer has responded to my feedback and I've emailed them now to identify the issue. Will report back!
EDIT:
It's working perfectly now! There was an issue with the newest version of Mozilla. The developer was very kind and communicative.
EDIT - October 12th, 2024
It's not working again! Just changing to 1 star until the issue is fixed, which I'm sure will be promptly : )
EDIT - October 13th, 2024
It's been fixed, as predicted! Note for reference: I won't be changing my review when glitches happen, since we can email the creator when something like this happens.Developer response
