- Rated 2 out of 5by K0NG, 14 days agoin the last couple months it started to break a lot of websites.
X (twitter) breaks the login (Mail Address login is not clickable), Captchas on a lot of different websites won't even show up or do not work, cloudflare checks loop for ever almost everywhere, Amazon delivery tracker does not sync and needs a full refresh of the website instead of auto updating, a price comparison website wants me to verify that i am human (looping like cloudflare) after going on it through a link.
ALL of these Problems are imediately solved by uninstalling Privacy Badger.Developer response
posted 14 days agoHello!
We fixed Twitter login promptly, soon after we learned about the problem. Note that Firefox itself ran into the same breakage.
It sounds like you told Privacy Badger to block reCAPTCHA by moving the slider for www.google.com to full blocking. Customizing slider settings is an advanced feature. I suggest leaving the sliders alone unless you know what you're doing. There are reasons why www.google.com isn't blocked by default for all Privacy Badger users, and you ran into some of them.
[Update: The Cloudflare fix is now live.] The fix for Cloudflare is going out in next Privacy Badger update. Until the fix is released, you could disable local learning as a temporary workaround. Alternatively, if you experience this problem on the same few sites, you could instead disable Privacy Badger on those sites.
